السلام عليكم هذه قصة قصيرة إنجليزيه ومترجمه بالعربي
THE SELFISH GIANT
Long ago , in a country far away , some children used to play in a giant's garden
Each day after school . It was alovely place.
كان يا مكان في قديم الزمان , وفي بلد بعيد, كان بعض الأطفال يلعبون في حديقة العملاق كل يوم بعد المدرسة
كان مكان جميلاً.
It had soft grass and flowers . It had trees to climb , and in their branches , birds chirped happily . The giant had been away for seven years . But one winter day ,
He returned.
كان فيها عشب ناعم وأزهار جميلة , كان فيها أشجار للتسلق وعصافير تغرد بسعادة على أغصان تلك الأشجار.
كان العملاق غائباً عن منزله لمدة سبعة أعوام , ولكن في يوم شتوي ,عاد إلى المنزل .
When the giant saw the children in his garden , he was angry . "What are you doing
Here? " he yelled .the children were frightened and ran away.
عندما رأى العملاق الأولاد في حديقته , صاح غاضباً بالأطفال : ماالذي تفعلونه هنا ؟ خاف الأطفال وهربوا
بعيداً.
Then he built a high wall around his garden and he put up a sign that said, Trespassers
Will Be Punished! He was a very selfish giant.
ثم بنى العملاق جداراً عالياً وعلق عليه لوحةً تقول:سوف يعاقب المتسللون. كان العملاق أنانياً جداً.
Then spring came .All over the country there were flowers and birds singing . But in
The giannt's garden , it was still winter . And it stayed winter year after year.
وعندما أتى الربيع إمتلأت القرية بلأزهار والعصافير المغردة , ولكن في حديقة العملاق ,كان الشتاء مستمراً
وبقي الشتاء سنة بعدسنة.
”I cannot understand why spring is so late in coming " said the giant . One morning ,
The giant looked out his window .Spring had finally returned to his garden!
قال العملاق: لا أفهم لماذا تأخر الربيع لهذه الدرجة وفي يوم من الأيام ,نظر العملاق من نافذته فرأى الربيع وقد
عاد إلى الحديقة.
The children had crept in through a little hole in the wall. The trees were so glad to

كان الأطفال قد زحفوا إلى داخل الحديقة من خلال ثقب في الجدار .وكانت الأشجار سعيدة لرؤيتهم ,فغطت نفسها
بالبراعم والأزهار.
"How selfish I have been ," cried the giant ."Now I know why spring would not come" He knocked down the wall and the garden now belonged to the children
بكى العملاق وقال: كم كنت أنانياً ,الآن عرفت لماذا لم يأتي الربيع إلي , ثم هدم الحائط وعادت الحديقة إلى الأطفال مرة أخرى.
