When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
when the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
عندما لا تسير الأمور كما يرام، كما هو الحال أحياناً ،
وعندما يبدو كل الطريق الذي تسلكة يزداد وعورة،
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
عندما تكون المدخرات منخفضة والديونَ عالية،
وتريد أن تبتسم، لَكنَّك تجد نفسك مرغما على أَنْ تَتنهّدَ،
when care is pressing you down a bit -
REST if you must, but don't you QUIT.
حينما تشتد وطأة الهم عليك قليلاً
إسترخ إن توجب عليك ذلكْ، لكن لا تَستسلم
Life is queer with it's twists and turns,
as every one of us sometimes learns,
الحياة غريبة بمفاجأتها وتقلباتها،
كما تعلمنا هي ذلك احيانا
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
لا تستسلم بالرغم من بطئ التقدم
فقَدْ تَنْجحُ في فرصة أخرى
Often the struggler has given up,
when he might have captured the victors cup;
فغالبا ما ييأس المجتهد،
في وقت كان بإمكانه احراز الكأس الفوز
and he learned too late when the night came down,
how close he was to the golden crown.
فيدرك ولكن متأخرا ,عندما يهبط الليل
كم كان قريبا من ذلك التاج الذهبي
SUCCESS is FAILURE turned inside out -
So stick to the fight with your hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't QUIT!1
النجاح هو فشل مقلوب من الداخل الى الخارج
لذا, َتمسّكُ بالكفاح بكل ما لديك من قوة
فخير وقت لأن لا تستسلم هو حينما تبدو الأمور في أسوأ أحوالها
people can come into your life for a season, help you and then be gone.
يمكن أن يدخل الناس الى حياتك مثل الموسم, يساعدونك ثم يختفون..........
For a reason, and also be gone in that aspect.
قد يدخلون حياتك لسبب,ثم يختفون ايضاً ........
For a lifetime and just be around.
قد يدخل بعضهم حياتك الى الأبد ليبقون حولك دائما...........
People come into our lives for many reasons:
يدخل الناس الى حياتنا لأسباب عدة..........
because we're down and need a hand.
إما لحاجتنا ليد العون.........
because we're up and doing fine.
أو لأننا ناجحون و واثقي الخطى..............
Or just because it's meant to be.
وإما فقط لأنه أٌريد لنا ذلك
